  3. Configuration: describes how to configure and install CC++.  Lists the
  4.   software and hardware requirements.

  6. cc++.tar.gz:
  7.   the source code and documentation for the CC++ compiler.
  8.  
  9. pthreads.tar.gz:
  10.   this file contains a modified version of the FSU Pthreads package and is
  11.   required by the SunOS 4.1.x version of CC++.
  12.  
  13. prebuilt:
  14.   a directory containing precompiled versions of the various components
  15.   of the CC++ distribution.  See the README in the ./prebuilt directory
  16.   for more information.

  18. cc++-examples.tar.gz:
  19.   this file contains a cc++-examples directory which contains small example
  20.   programs written in the CC++ programming language.
  21.  
  22. pvm3.2.6.tar.gz:
  23.   a copy of pvm3.  The current release of CC++ uses PVM for multiple processor
  24.   object execution.
